Arielle kenney

Hello I am Arielle Kenney of Feng-Shui Kennels (American Staffordshire Terrier and Tosa Inu). I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia and was born in Yokosuka Japan. I grew up with American Staffordshire Terriers. Kaine, Jesse, and Sergeant. My first prospect is Inari - Titletown's Omamori Charm. After getting into the well bred AmStaff scene for 3 years I finally got my own puppy. I hope to continue to own more in the future. I decided on Tosa Inu because Molosser type breeds have always been of interest to me but everytime I looked at one it just did not feel right. I settled on Tosa Inu because they remind me of American Staffordshire Terriers in a mastiff body. I also really wanted a breed that originated in Japan and it just feels right. I hope to add a Tosa Inu into my life in the near future.

Inari is my first show prospect AmStaff and a potential foundation bitch from Jenna Lea of Titletown Kennels. She is off 18-year-old semen by CH Van Gunn's Cruise Control CD, RN, CGC, TDI, ROH "Cruise" out of GCH Titletown's Free Bird CA DCAT "Falcon". She is a very hard-working, stable, and biddable bitch. She will do anything you throw her into and work hard to do it. She has great recovery and problem-solving skills at such a young age. She is a nice sized moderate bitch with a head to die for. She looks so much like her mother Falcon with the deep, shiny dilute pigment that her father has. We are very excited for this bitch's future.

The American Staffordshire Terrier formerly referred to as the Staffordshire Terrier and Yankee Terrier, originally the American Pit Bull Terrier, is a dog with a deep and rich history. To understand the breed, one has to do their utmost diligence by researching the why, who, what, when, how, and where surrounding these dogs. The Tosa inu
土佐犬

The Tosa Inu also known as the Tosa Token, Tosa Ken, or Tosa; is a recently developed breed dating back to the 1900s made up of native Japanese breeds and western breeds. The Tosa has an interesting history consisting of dog on dog combat. They are akin to the sumo wrestler of dogs. Thankfully, our breed is well documented so I will be sharing links to reliable resources. If you still have questions, I most likely have answers.

How long have you been in the breed?I have been around AmStaffs my whole life but have been around wellbred purebred American Staffordshire Terriers for 4 years now. As for Tosa, I only recently began helping the breed club for 2 years.  
What are your goals in breeding AmStaffs?My goal is to provide level-headed, healthy, temperamentally and structurally sound dogs for those who want to do sports AND showing in the breed. My goal is to work primarily with White Rock and Ruffian line dogs to achieve this, with outcrosses being equally old-style dogs and pedigrees.  
What are your goals in breeding Tosa?My goals in Tosa are about as equal to my goals in breeding AmStaffs. Primarily focusing on not losing the true spirit of the Tosa that the country of origin, Japan, has maintained. I refuse to westernize this breed and turn it into the generic show dog that many breeds, unfortunately, meet in the fate of recognition and popularity. I also hope to use my dogs to further research health and more that is unknown in this breed.
